THE Ghana Football Association has dispatched a list of 18 players and nine officials of that country’s Olympic team, Black Meteors, to the NFF for Friday’s international friendly to commission the brand –new Akwa Ibom International Stadium, Uyo.
The Leader of Delegation is Kweku Abaka Eyiah, a member of the GFA. Wahab Rahaman and Charles Kojo Ntim, members of the Management team, are also in the delegation.
The 18 –man playing squad includes Richard Ofori, Eric Ofori Antwi, Emmanuel Nti Mensah, Benjamin Agyari, Lawrence Lartey, Vincent
Attinga, Kwasi Quansah, Richard Yamoah, Kojo Poku, Kennedy Ashia, David Osei Opoku, Isaac Oppong Osae, Abedel Latif Amadu, Enoch Kumi Frimpong, Samuel Afful, Noah Martey, Abdul Ganiyu Ismael and Elvis Opoku.
The Head Coach is Alhaji Malik Jabir, with Abdul Karim Zito as Assistant Coach and Andrew Ayim as Doctor. The physiotherapist is Albert Kwadwo Evedzi, Adjei Adjettey is Masseur and Kwabena Agyemang Agyin is Equipment Manager.
Officials have suggested Nigeria’s FIFA and CAF Match Commissioner, Etubom Paul Bassey as Match Commissioner for Friday’s game.
