PORT HARCOURT—Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the release of Mrs Osiya Agama, sister of the Minister of Petroleum, Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke.

It would be recalled that Agama was kidnapped in Port Harcourt penultimate Tuesday at about 9p.m. around a shopping mall.

Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ahmad Muhammad, who confirmed the develop-ment to Vanguard, said she was rescued during a joint operation by the military, DSS and the Police, adding that two suspects were arrested during the raid.

He said: “Osiya Agama has been safely rescued during a joint operation by the Police, Military, DSS. Two suspects were arrested.”
