OSOGBO—Osun State House of Assembly has asked the people of the state to ignore  the calculated attempt by some people it described as “unscrupulous  faceless people” whose partisan interest was to service the diabolical plot of the opposition to truncate the democratic experiment in the State.

In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker, Mr. Goke Butika in Osogbo yesterday, the state Assembly said it has unveiled a plot by some chieftains of an opposition party to cause unprecedented mayhem in the history of the state with a view to truncating the swearing-in of Governor Rauf Aregbesola next month.

The parliament stressed that the credible report at its disposal showed that the party after losing the last governorship election, has drawn contingent plans that could fetch the mandate freely given to Aregbesola to it through the back-door.
