An elder statesman and two-time Senator in Nigeria, Senator Nosike Ikpo, has thrown his weight behind the aspiration of Hon. Pascal Adigwe, to vie for the Delta North Senatorial seat in 2015.

Senator Ikpo who is a community leader and one of the founding members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, described Adigwe as a very humble, respectful and committed grassroots party man who had over the years exhibited his talent for all to see.

Ikpo said that there was need for the people of the area to join hands and ensure Adigwe’s emergence as the next senator of Delta North.

Senator Ikpo, who turned 80 recently, recalled that experience of administration was necessary for anybody wishing to represent a people, adding that Hon. Adigwe having served as the representative for Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency with good results will perform well if elected.
