BOMADI—Delta State Chairman, Amnesty Phase 2, Mr. Kingsley Muturu, has urged ex-militants on Phase 3 of the amnesty programme, to channel their agitations of inadequate slot to the Federal Government.

Muturu spoke amidst protests by members of Phase 3 ex-militant group in Ughelli, Delta State, who accused Special Adviser to President Goodluck Jonathan on the Niger Delta and Chair-man of Amnesty Office, Mr. Kingsley Kuku, of withholding its slots.

According to him, it is a known fact that over 360,000 slots were approved for the third phase by the Federal Government and that it was apparent that the slots approved for the phase were not enough.

He said, however, that going to the streets and protesting against the wrong person or direction was not the best way to go about it.
