Yenagoa—INDICATIONS emerged yesterday, that no fewer than eight aides of Governor Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa State, have resigned their appointments to contest National Assembly and state elections on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

They are Commissioner for Education, Mr. Salo Adikumo; Chief of Staff, Bayelsa House, Abuja, Chief Diekive Ikiogha; the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Fred Agbedi; Commissioner for Local Government, Mr. Mietema Obordor and the Director-General of Due Process Bureau, Mr. Joshua Ngore.

Also reported to have resigned are three Senior Special Assistants and a Special Adviser.

They were said to have submitted their resignation letters to the government through the office of the Secretary to the State Government, Dr.Edmund Allison-Oguru.

Meanwhile, Chief Fred Agbedi was said to have been replaced with Chief Fyneman Wilson as Special Adviser on Political Matters.
