LAGOS—Lagos State Government, yesterday, said that at least 194,000 licences for Lagos applicants are yet to be processed.
The state government added that these were part of the 511,030 drivers’ who applied for license since it started in 2011.
This was disclosed at the commissioning of the Motor Vehicle Administration Agency, MVAA one-stop centre and formal launch of Temporary Vehicle Tag, TVT at the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, headquarters, Oshodi, Lagos State.
While commissioning the centre, the state governor, Babatunde Fashola explained that the centre was part of the strategies to ensure prompt processing of drivers license.
