It is no news that Monica Ogah is a versatile artiste, who can deliver the goods when it comes to highlife music and also create a ballad effect on a RnB song. The     winner of MTN’s Project Fame Season IV just released a mainstream song titled Monika Tide.

In a recent chat with Potpourri, the vivacious beauty explained the inspiration behind the song and why it’s not a self-praise song.

“I get inspired by everything I see around me, but for this song it was just a free style. I heard the beat, liked it  and thought to do something on it. I don’t think  it will be termed a self-praise song. I am simply saying I have come to take over the industry” she said.

On why she rarely flashes a bit of flesh here and there,”I don’t put my sex appeal first, it’s left for the people to see for themselves but my voice is my selling point”.
