Indications are rife that the fourth term ambition of Senator Uche Chuhwumerije has the full support of several strong interest groups in his constituency, Abia State and beyond.

Chukwumerije has indicated interest in returning to the Senate after three tenures. Whereas some Abia politics watchers are expressing concern over the apparent disregard for zoning of offices and positions in the state, a team of informed stakeholders the state have since mobilized, and are pushing for the state to focus on the performance, pedigree profile and prospects Chukwumwerije and return him to the senate.
