BURUTU—Mr  Julius Pondi, an aspirant of the ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP, seeking to represent Burutu federal constituency in the House of Representatives, has promised to enhance the fortunes of the people if elected in 2015.

Pondi, made the promise to Chief Kenneth Ogeibiri, chairman of PDP in Burutu Local Government Area, when he officially  declared his intention to leaders of the party.
He said: “I have succumbed to pressure from my people to represent them at National Assembly  because they know I have the capability to give them quality and effective representation.

“I have identified the pains of the people of Burutu, particularly those at the grassroots and I am determined to bring  dividends of democracy to them if elected.”
