The meeting which was held at Daniel’s Sagamu home  involved stakeholders from the old Peoples Party of Nigeria, Labour Party and those who had stayed away since the PDP in the state was hit with crisis shortly before 2011 governorship election in the state.

At the end of the meeting which was attended by prominent PDP leaders include, Dave Salako, Chief Iyabode Apampa, Chief Alani Akinde, Chief Kolapo Ogunjobi, they all agreed to join hands with the leadership of the party in the state ahead of the 2015 general elections.
