ASABA— FORMER Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe, yesterday, said he has the road map for the development of Delta State, adding that he was in the governorship race because he wants to do something unique.

Speaking when he paid a consultative visit to the leadership of Peoples Democra-tic Party, PDP, in Asaba, Orubebe said he will create jobs for the unemployed youths and economic empowerment for the women.

He said party executive will be well catered for under his governorship, noting that he will hold regular meetings with party officials in the state with a view to properly positioning the party.

He expressed hope that the party leadership will do the needful and thanked the Chief Nwaoboshi-led executive for its good work.
Chief Nwaoboshi assured that there would be a level playing ground for all aspirants, saying “I will leave a legacy of free and fair primaries.”

He added that Delta State was too enlightened for anybody to rig elections, saying that whoever emerges at the party primaries would become the party’s gubernatorial flag bearer.
