LAGOS—IJAW National Congress, INC, Lagos chapter, has urged all Ijaws resident in Lagos to come out enmass for the upcoming permanent voter’s card issuance and registration of eligible voters by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

The chairman, Chief Patrick Keku also called on the leadership of all Ijaw associations in Lagos State to ensure massive participation of their members.
In a  statement,  Chief Keku said  that the Organising Secretary, Elizabeth Sinclair, has been mandated to liaise with the various associations for the sensitisation exercise.
He advised the associations to ensure proper coordination of members for the exercise.

“We should all get ready to exercise our civic responsibilities in 2015 and ensure that we are not disenfranchised by our inability to obtain permanent voter’s cards,” Keku said.
