Internal crisis rocks Mushin APC

INDICATIONS have emerged of internal crisis in the Mushin Local Government, Lagos chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC over allocation of party positions.
It was gathered that the crisis has prevented the party from holding its congress since April.

According to Ajifowowe Daniels, a member of the aggrieved faction, the visit of the Lagos State party executives led by Mrs. Kemi Nelson could not douse the tension in the local government, saying “because of the inconclusive April 2014 congress in Mushin local government and the inability of the leaders to settle the impasse, the political mood in Mushin have remained tensed. The leaders have not changed their stance which have been creating tension in local government.”

He added: “The past chairman of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Mr. Aremo Ikufisile and the incumbent, Mr. Babatunde Adepitan run the party like a private estate and every member must dance to their whims.”
