I’ll sustain Imoke’s agenda in C-River—Ugbe

Cross River State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development and governorship aspirant on the platform of People Democratic Party, PDP, Mr. Patrick Ugbe, has said that if he was endorsed to run and eventually wins the race to the Government House, his primary responsibility will be to meet the needs of the citizens.

Ugbe,  who  commended the efforts of former Governor Donald Duke and incumbent, Senator Liyel Imoke, in rural and urban transformation and massive infrastructural development in various sectors,  promised to sustain the stransformation agenda of Governor Imoke.

Speaking in Calabar, the governorship aspirant said he would leverage on the legacies of previous administrations to usher the state into an era of quality leadership and good governance with unlimited opportunities.

He added that his vision to improve on the giant strides of Governor Imoke was dependent on the choice Cross Riverians will make towards picking the appropriate character and observed that democracy has afforded Cross Riverians the opportunity to decide their fate.

Ugbe expressed faith in the future of Cross River State, noting that his mission was to strengthen the values of adequate representation and good governance.
According to him, the state has made significant progress to become an investment destination in Nigeria and assured of his plans to consolidate on these gains.
