UNIDENTIFIED  Gunmen,  suspected to be kidnappers, have reportedly abducted a businessman in Aba, the commercial nerve of Abia State.

The businessman, who was simply identified as Mr. Benson, according to reports, was kidnapped, Monday, at about 9:30p.m. near Abia State Teaching Hospital’s permanent site on Ayaba Umueze road in Osisioma Local Government Area.
Report has it that the yet-to-be known gunmen kidnapped their victim in his ash coloured Pathfinder Sports Utility Vehicle.

While information about the incident remained sketchy at press time, the family members of the victim could not be reached for comments.
When contacted, the State Police Chief, CP Ibrahim Adamu, said that the victim’s family was yet to make official report to the police, adding that attempts made by his men  to reach the victim’s family yielded no fruit.

“We also heard about the man’s abduction. But as I am talking with you now, the family members of the victim are yet to make official report on the incident to the police.
”I have sent my men to find details about the man, where he lives and his family and that has not been possible yet.”
