The desire of Enugu State governor, Sullivan Chime, to go to the senate in 2015 has received a boost as elders and traditional title holders in Awgu Local Government Area have thrown their weight behind him.
The traditional title holders, under the aegis of ‘Ndi Nze N’Ozo Awgu Egbeleli, led by their traditional prime minister, Chief Stephen Onuoha, who paid the governor a solidarity visit at Government House Enugu, presented him with the traditional ‘ofo’ stick, saying it was a symbol of authority and unanimous mandate to represent them in the Senate.
