1,000 youth for New York summit

No fewer than 1,000 young Nigerian professionals are expected to take part in an international summit organised by the Nigerian Young Professionals Forum, NYPF, on September 27 in New York, United States of America.

NYPF Chairman, Mr Moses Siasia, who disclosed this in Abuja, said that the essence of the summit was to pool ideas on how to foster sustainable socio-political and economic development of Nigeria.

He said that the summit was slated for New York because of the large number of young Nigerian professionals resident in the US.
“The agenda of the summit is to bring together well selected Nigerian young professionals residing the US to brainstorm on how to engender accelerated development in Nigeria.

“The summit will be a strategic platform on how young people can objectively network by using our wealth of experience and knowledge to foster growth and development in our country Nigeria.

“We all know that a lot of young Nigerians are making waves in the US in various aspects of human endeavour.”
