Nigeria and Middlesbrough youngster, Kenneth Omeruo is warming up for a meeting this Sunday.

He will not be jogging the ball or preventing strikers from finding the back of the net; he will be cracking his ribs at the Hackney Empire when ace comedian, Julius ‘D’Genius’Agwu and others come to town.

Omeruo via his instagram and twitter handle noted that, “One of the biggest stand up comedy is here again.. I definitely need this.. @phynofino (Alobam) will be performing @ceeb3ar get ticket I no fit shout..Let’s get our tickets and welcome Julius The Genius Agu”.

Omeruo signed for Chelsea from Standard Liege in January 2012 and upon signing went on loan to Dutch top-flight side ADO Den Haag. Then only 19, he impressed enough in the Eredivisie to earn a call up to the Nigerian national team.
