Recall that while impeaching Maigari on the 24th of July, 2014, the executive committee had hinted of the emergence of a cabal within the board which, according to analysts, included Green and Fresh.

According to Inyama, all the decisions which were taken in line with Article 34 (m) and Article 37 (1&5) of the NFF Statues are however, subject to ratification by the general assembly of the Nigeria Football Federation.

The committee however spared another member, Hon. Suleiman Yahaya-Kwande who was equally investigated for an alleged anti board activities because he admitted presence at the said illegal meeting and subsequently apologized.

Meanwhile, the board has received the report of the Effiong Johnson led committee which looked into the lengthy bans on some prominent members of the Nigeria football family by the former leadership of the board under the impeached Alhaji Aminu Maigari, indicating that it will take a decision on that report in its next meeting scheduled to hold next week.

Those facing nme form of ban or the other include; former secretary general of the Nigeria Football Association, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, former chairman of the Nigeria Premier League, Chief Rumson Baribote, and board member, Barr. Olaleye Adepoju,. Others are; Mr. Jarrett Tenebe, Mr. Harrison Jalla, Mr. Ahmed Shuaibu-Gara-Gombe, Mr. Chikelue Iloanusi and Mr. Olajide Fashikun.
