ILORIN —  Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State  has said the government has earmarked about N600 million as part of his administrations’ strategic efforts to boost power generation in the state.

Ahmed, who dropped this hint while addressing members of the All Progressives Congress, APC,  at the party’s first  stakeholders meeting held at the party’s secretariat in Ilorin, said this would further ensure constant electricity supply to all parts of the state.
According to him, “the present administration will continue to do everything within its resources in meeting developmental needs of the state.”

Governor Ahmed, who gave a scorecard of his administration’s achievements, noted that before the end of the year, government would have actively engaged 8000 youths under its various empowerment programmes.
