Jonathan for groundbreaking ceremony of A’Ibom methanol plant

UYO—PRESIDENT Goodluck Jonathan is expected to be in Akwa Ibom State tomorrow to lay the foundation stone of a US$1.8 billion methanol plant located in Ibeno Local Government Area of the state.

Special Adviser to Akwa Ibom State Governor on Media, Mr. Nduesse Essien, who disclosed this to newsmen yesterday in Uyo, said President Jonathan will also commission the 69-kilometer processing gas pipeline at Uquo in Esit Eket Local Government Area during the one-day working visit.
He said: “President Jonathan will also inspect the Olympic size international stadium in Uyo and you know he was the one who performed the groundbreaking ceremony of the project last October. There will also be a forum for interaction between the President and stakeholders in the state.”
