ABUJA —SENATOR Smart Adeyemi, PDP, Kogi West, yesterday, upbraided state governors maintaining private jets to sell them and use the proceeds to boost job creation in their states.

Muazu, who received Senator Adeyemi and the five members of the House of Representatives, praised the diligence and representation of Senator Adeyemi on the Senate floor, saying the party was proud of him.
Members of the House of Representatives, who came along with the senator were Sunday Karimi, representing Yagba Federal Constituency; Tajudeen Yusuf, Kabba/ Bunu Federal Constituency; Tijani Yusuf, Okene/Ogori Federal Constituency; Tom Zakari, Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency and Inah Hussein, Idah Federal Constituency
Senator Adeyemi, who took a swipe at state governors who fly around in private jets, stressed that it was rather unfortunate that the governors live in such luxury in the face of biting unemployment in the country.
He thus charged the governors to sell the jets and use the proceeds to create jobs for their teeming unemployed people.
He, however, declined to mention names of such governors.
Praising the stewardship of the national chairman of the ruling party, Senator Adeyemi, who spoke on behalf of the lawmakers, said that it was his dream that Buhari and other national leaders of the APC defect to the PDP.
