By Samuel Oyadongha

Wife of the Governor of Bayelsa State, Mrs Rachael Dickson, yesterday, said parents have a role to play in changing the age long perception about girl-child education.

Speaking during a thanksgiving service as part of activities to mark her 41st birthday anniversary at the King of Glory Chapel, Government House, Yenagoa, Mrs. Dickson, said girls have prominent roles in the socio-economic growth of the country.

She also called on parents, especially fathers, to imbibe the culture of forgiveness, especially when their children erred.

Mrs Dickson added that she would continue to celebrate God for upholding her husband, Governor Seriake Dickson and the entire people of Bayelsa State.
