Lagos-based prophet, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, has called on Nigerians, particularly politicians, to take prophecies serious and be mindful of acts that may push Nigeria back to the stone age. He said not taking the word of God serious by the prophets who delivered them could be injurious to the society.
In an exclusive chat with Sunday Vanguard shortly after the presentation of the 2014/2015 edition of the Warnings to the Nation: A Collection of Divine Signals, the founder and spiritual head of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, Ejigbo, Lagos, said the more government operators and people took prophecies by men of God serious the better for the country.
He added that may bigwigs had fallen in the nation’s public life because they did not heed the word of reason.
In a speech presented earlier to journalists, Ayodele spoke about how far he had gone having prophesied for 21 years.
His words: “Through the divine directives of the Living God, we had given several prophecies that came to pass and which were not revealed by God through any other person or source. The final determinant when it come to the question of fulfilled prophecies or otherwise is God. The Lord can say ‘it will be’ and later say ‘it will not be’. No one queries Him.
The book, split into different headings, on its page 85, under ‘Banks and financial institutions’, shows a prophecy that Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi would not be allowed to complete his term and that he would disgraced out of office, which he claimed came to pass.
