There’s good news in the air. Nollywood diva, Offiong Kate Henshaw, has been warming up to join her other colleagues who have since delved into politics.

HVP gathered that the actress was due to declare her intention to contest the election into the House of Representatives in Cross River State next year, on her birthday which came up yesterday, in Lagos.

A source close to her, revealed that her campaign.ng account came alive yesterday night. Interestingly, if Kate actualises her political ambition, then she will be setting a new record as the first Nollywood actress to go into politics in Nigeria.
