Lagos—Supporters of President Goodluck Jonathan, under the aegis of GEJites Volunteers, have said they were not campaigning for the President’s re-election as alleged by the All Progressives Congress, APC, noting that they  were only mobilising support for whom they think could solve Nigeria’s problems.

They also dismissed claims by the party that the President was  being insensitive to the security situation in the country.
The APC in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Lai Mohammed, had described as  insensitive alleged ongoing campaign by GEJites for the President’s re-election at the  spot where the ‘Bring Back Our Girls’ campaigners use for the protest.
He said: ‘’The APC should know Nigeria is a free country and everyone has the right to support whoever he or she wants, even the freedom of association is guaranteed.”
