Chief Executive Officer, Goldlink Insurance Plc, Mr. Gbolahan Olutayo has been named the “2013 Insurance Man of the Year” at the maiden edition of BusinessToday Online Award.
Gbolahan emerged the Insurance Man of the Year amidst strong industry contenders.

According to the Publisher/Editor of BusinessToday, Ms. Nkechi Naeche, the organisers of the Award, Olutayo won the Award in recognition of his outstanding efforts and leadership qualities in stabilizing the company as well as expanding its portfolio since assuming office in September 2012.

She stated further that the Goldlink boss deserve the award not just because he got the highest number of votes among the nominees for the insurance man of the year category, but also because of the doggedness by which the company scaled through the National Insurance Commission, NAICOM, regulations and is still standing strong till date.

Olutayo stated that he is “really honoured to win the award and that the company will not fail in delivering its core reason for existence to the Nigerian populace.”
