The National Orientation Agency (NOA) on Wednesday said the activities of the terror group in the country were not the true reflections of Nigerian values and cultures.
Mr Mike Omeri, the Director-General of the agency, made the remark in a statement given to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.
The statement described as callous and cruel, the twin bomb blasts which occurred at the popular Terminus Market in Jos on Tuesday
He prayed for the speedy recovery of those who sustained injuries and commiserated with the families of the victims.
He called on Nigerians to be vigilant to check terrorism in the country.
Omeri said the Federal Government was committed to stamping out terrorism especially with the joint effort of the multinational force operating in the north east.
