Accord party has promised a  ‘Down Town Governance Policy’ if voted into power.

Its gubernatorial candidate, Mr Kole Ajayi said this while addressing state executive members of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employers NULGE.

Ajayi said under this policy, the seat of government will be moving to each local government a week in every month for the governor to ensure that the people at the grass roots feel the impact of government the more.

Ajayi, who lamented the total neglect of the grass roots by the previous administrations explained that the down town governance policy will allow the governor to have on the spot assessment and take immediate action adding that this will promote a better synergy with the people.
