A Yoruba group, the Coalition of Oodua Self Determination Groups (COSEG) has warned all delegates from the South-West geo-political zone to see the pursuit of the Yoruba people as sacrosanct and pursue it vigorously, warning that dire consequences await anyone who betrays the region.

In a statement by the chairman of its coordinating council, Comrade Ifedayo Ogunlana, the group stated that delegates must strive to see to the actualisation of the Yoruba Agenda at the on going national conference, adding that all eyes are on the delegates to the conference and that the realisation of the Yoruba agenda must be pursued in concert with other progressives.

The group stressed that restructuring of the present structure in Nigeria, right to self determination and resource control should be properly articulated by the delegates.
