THE Senior Vice President of Middle East and Africa region, of Nokia solutions and networks, NSN, Mr. Igor Leprince, at the opening of its office in Lagos, last week, expressed his company’s commitment to improving connectivity in Nigeria.

He said that NSN’s presence in Nigeria is to help investors in the telecom industry build a world class mobile broadband infrastructure as the Nigerian Communications Commission,NCC recommends.

Leprince said that, NSN is committed to strengthening its focus on Nigeria and helping telecom operators build a reliable, superior mobile broadband network across the country including in the mid-size cities and rural areas. He added that with the level of sophistication attained by NSN, it was ready to deliver large-scale mobile broadband rollouts in Nigeria.

“We are known globally as one of the world’s specialist in the provision of mobile broadband. we have impressed  seasoned experts from most advanced telecom markets, including Japan, Korea, America, Canada among others. NSN will operate in Nigeria as advanced mobile broadband providers and provide services that would keep operators in Nigeria at par with the world’s leading telecom service providers”, the vice president said.  Leprince identified product and mobile service innovation, delivery of qualitative service as an integral objective of the company.
