LAGOS— A 41-year old marketer, Kassim Olawale, has been arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate’s Court, over alleged theft of hair care products worth N1.150 million.

The defendant is facing a three-count charge of conspiracy, stealing and obtaining.

The police prosecutor, ASP Iranus Nnamonu, told the court that the defendant and others at large, conspired to commit the alleged offence.

He said that the defendant, as an independent marketer to Edmark Health Products, sometimes in May, 2013, at 47, Opebi Road, obtained N1.150 million from one Seun Akingbehim.

The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.

Magistrate Abimbola Komolafe granted him bail in the sum of N500,000, with two responsible sureties in like sum and adjourned the matter to April 24 for mention.
