Acting Secretary of the Club Owners, Alloy Chukwuemeka has declared that the League Management Company (LMC) has no right to exclude Giwa FC and Nembe City from this season’s Glo Premier League.

The general manager of ABS believes the LMC should have forwarded their recommendation to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) before making a pronouncement to throw out the two clubs from the league.

“Yes, we are here for the meeting as you rightly observed but I cannot pre-empt the outcome of the meeting.

“The essence of the meeting is first in solidarity with our colleagues whose clubs were excluded from participating in the league, so we are here also to find out the true position of the issues on the ground so that we can present it to our larger forum and other relevant quarters.

“Personally I think the LMC lack such powers to exclude any team from participating in the league, it is the exclusive powers of the federation – they can only recommend. They must reinstate the two teams” said Chukwuemeka.
