LAGOS—THE lawmaker representing Lagos West Senatorial District, Senator Ganiyu Solomon, has said no government can provide employment to every job seeker.
Senator Solomom spoke yesterday in Lagos at the graduation ceremony of a skill acquisition  programme for 382 youths in his senatorial district.

The youths were trained in bead making, headgear and make up, fashion design, shoe making, photography, video coverage, pastry and cake decoration, barbing and knitting among others.
The lawmaker explained that he sponsored the youths to learn various vocations as part of his contribution to job creation in the country, noting that many youths were unemployed due to lack of skills.

He said: “We are concerned about the unemployment situation in the country. We believe that all hands must be on deck to tackle this problem.”
