BY DAUD   OLATUNJI

ABEOKUTA—The  Awori people in Ado-Odo-Ota  and Ifo local governments   areas  of Ogun State yesterday, condemned the exclusion of  their people from  the  proposed national  conference.

The Awori people in a statement signed by the coordinator of  April Solidarity Movement,  Chief Kayode Odunsi described their exclusion as “a systematic  marginalisation  occasioned  by the balkanization of our  people.”

The Federal government had published 492 names of the delegates across the country without the Awori ethinicity.

Reacting to the exclusion of their people, the group said  out of 13 delegates chosen  from Ogun State, all the  ethnic groups in the state  representatives except Awori extraction.
