NIGERIA will be among the 80 countries that will participate in the Global Education Summit to be organized by the British Council in the United States in May this year.
Supervising Minister of Education, Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, stated this yesterday,  in Abuja when he received the Country Deputy Director of the British Council, Amr Ramzon.

The Minister stated that Nigeria is interested in participating in the summit because it plans to share its successes and challenges with the international community in order to further improve on the nation’s education sector.

He said that Nigeria  agreed to fully participate in the summit because such international engagements open the way for greater collaborations that enhance educational delivery at all levels.
Barr. Wike said: “We have accepted to participate in this international summit being organised by the British Council in the United States because it is another opportunity for us to share our experiences, successes and challenges with the entire world.

Earlier, the Deputy Country Director of British Council, Amr Ramzon urged the Federal Ministry of Education to actively participate in the Global Education Summit to be held in Miami, United States.
