MOST Valuable Player, MVP,  of the just concluded African Nations Championship, CHAN, Ejike Uzoenyi has charged his local based Eagles to redouble their efforts and fight for places in Nigeria’s final list to the World Cup in Brazil.

Uzoenyi, the most outstanding player of the tournament and the engine room of Stephen Keshi’s team

said that they(home-based) are equal if not better than foreign-based Eagles and deserve shirts to the World Cup.

Coach Stephen Keshi has promised to take four outstanding home-based players from the CHAN to the World Cup in Brazil and Uzoenyi believes that they merit to be in the squad to Brazil.

The Enugu Rangers International player also promised that the MVP  gong would not distract him as he plans to ride on his success in South Africa to global recognition in Brazil if selected by Stephen Keshi.
