Ugborodo community tasks new Epz c’ttee on transparency


WARRI—THE Eghare-Aja and Chairman, Ugborodo Community  Council of Elders, Eghare Wellington Ojogor, Warri South-West Local Governmrnt Area of Delta State, has charged the Chairman of the reconstituted multi-billion dollar Escravos Processing Zone, EPZ, Project Committee, Mr. Austin Oboroegbeyi, to be fair and transparent, following his appointment.

Ojogor, who spoke at Ode-Ugborodo, through his Special Assistant, Prince Ojogor Anderson, commended Delta State Government for reconstituting the committee.
He said it was only in an atmosphere of openness and responsibility that the new committee can carry everyone along and mend fences, following the crisis that rocked the volatile oil host community.
“All sons and daughters of Ugborodo should adhere to the resolution of the state government and create an enabling environment for the EPZ project to succeed,” he said.
