The Police in Benin City, Edo State, have been commended for the suspects arrested in connection with the attempted murder of three youths in Igarra, Akoko Edo Local Government Area of the state.
The Eziobe Consultative Forum, in a statement in Benin City, by Chief Majebi Balogun, said anything that could further disrupt the peace and unity in Igarra community should be promptly arrested by the security agencies, as no one should be allowed to take the law into his or her hands.
He said: “Those of us in Benin City received the news of the palpable fear that enveloped Igarra over the dastardly act. Our people slept with one eye open throughout the period until the arrest of persons who have been terrorising the community with guns, though others are at large.”
