Transporters hike fares in Asaba
Transporters in Asaba have increased fares as people return to base after the Christmas and New Year holidays. An investigation by a correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) who visited Chukwudumebi and Efex motor parks on Friday in Asaba, revealed that the transporters are charging N3,000 from Asaba to Lagos instead of the usual N2,500.
