UGHELLI—FORMER Secretary to Delta State Government, SSG, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege, has been elected National Chairman of Urhobo Political Congress, UPC.
His emergence was sequel to a motion moved by Chief Mike Adiotomre and seconded by Chief E.D.O Obofukoro, which was unanimously adopted by all members of the group.
Speaking after his emergence, Omo-Agege said: “ My charge to the Urhobo nation is that the people should come together, work very hard, stick together and refuse to allow themselves to be balkanized or be deceived. The Urhobo nation should speak with one voice so as to be able to take their rightful place in the committee of ethnic nationalities within Delta State come 2015. The only vehicle to that political Jerusalem is UPC.”
