ABUJA—THE National Teachers’ Institute, NTI, has taken further step to boost staff productivity, following its introduction of sporting activities as part of efforts to create mutual relationship between management and staff.

Director-General, NTI, Dr. Aminu Sharehu, said the move to increase staff productivity through sporting activities was to keep them fit medically and mentally to contribute meaningfully to the transformation of the institute.

Sharehu said: “Productivity could only be increased and sustained when the staff are healthy enough. This informed the idea of introducing sporting activities at the institute.”
