The protesters included market men and women, members of various  unions and other interest groups, who declared their support for Ibikunle Amosun led administration in the state.
Some residents had protested what they described as further demolition of their property , accusing the government of   being insensitive to the plights of the residents.

But  another set of protesters  who carried    placards, yesterday, in Sango with various inscriptions,  registered their support for Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s ‘Mission to Rebuild.’
Some of the placards  carried inscriptions such as: “We are authentic indigenes of Sango Ijoko,” “We support Amosun,”  “Amosun, more blessings, more grace,” “Sango youths are in support  Amosun for second term,” among others.
