Coscharis targets more market share with 3 Series Gran Turismo

Coscharis Motors, sole representative of BMW brand of vehicles in Nigeria has said that the recent launch of the all-new BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo would enable it widen the BMW market share in Nigeria in the shortest possible time.

Dr. Cosmas Maduka, president, Coscharis Group stated this at the unveiling of the new BMW Gran Turismo recently in Lagos. The Coscharis boss who was represented by the Group General Manager of the company, Mr. Sola Adigun, said the 3 Series Gran Turismo provides a unique combination of sporty and elegant coupe design, excellent versatility, space and the hallmark of BMW driving experience.

Describing the Gran Turismo as “simply a car with intelligent innovations, Dr. Maduka pointed out that it clearly combines two apparent contradictions: a coupe-like vehicle design on one hand and on the other hand, an extraordinary generous amount of space with excellent functionality which is hardly found in its competitors.

As the first ever BMW vehicles to spot active rear spoiler which enables very coupe-like silhouette and elegant low rear, the Coscharis boss said the Gran Turismo is a unique vehicle concept for young and upward moving families.
The Gran Turismo main features include elevated seating position, comfortable vehicle ingress and highly versatile luggage compartment.

The largest in the five BMW 3 Series range with  4.82 metres length, and 20 centimetres longer than the BMW 3 Series Touring, the Gran Turismo boasts additional seven centimetres of legroom for rear passengers with 520 litres of storage capacity. It also offers an extra 25 litres of luggage space.

Dr. Maduka further explained that the new 3 Series Gran Turismo would support its corporate philosophy of “value for money”.
“I have maintained that our company is envisioned to remain a market leader in the auto segment in Nigeria. This variant of BMW 3 Series helps to buttress this claim as  it is an iconic model in the BMW brand,” he stated.

The BMW Gran Turismo also known as the F34 brings to five the number of BMW 3 Series different body variants. Others include saloon, touring, coupe and convertible.
Available in three trims, the 3 Series comes in engine variants ranging from 328i to 335i with xDrive. The entry model which is 328i start from N11.5 million, according to Dr. Maduka.
