Governor Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers State has sacked the Commi-ssioner for Urban Deve-lopment, Mr. Tammy Da-nagogo.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Dave Iyofor, said: “Governor Amaechi directs Mr. Danagogo to handover immediately to the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Urban Development.”
No reason was given for the sack. However, there was speculation that it was connected with a decision of the former commissio-ner not to move with the governor to All Progressi-ves Congress, APC.
