2015: Lagos PDP passes vote of confidence on Jonathan

BY DAPO AKINREFON

Lagos — THE Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has passed a vote of confidence on President Goodluck Jonathan, adding that it will mobilise Lagosians to vote for him in 2015.

State chairman of the party, Captain Tunji Shelle (rtd) said this, yesterday, during the party’s general assembly in Lagos.
Shelle, however, accused the Lagos State government of failing to improve the plight of Lagosians in spite of the huge allocations accrued to the state.

While imploring Lagosians to vote en masse for the President in the 2015 general elections, he said Jonathan has been delivering on his Transformation Agenda.

Shelle said: “At this juncture, I want you to join me as we pass a vote of confidence on our leader, President Goodluck Jonathan and the leadership of our great party for their worthy stewardship so far, which is reflecting in steady march in our national development.
