UKPO DUNUKOFIA –  Accreditation of voters for the Anambra governorship election commenced at most polling centres in Awka South, Njikoka and Dunukofia local government areas a early as 8.10 am.

Many anxious  voters  were  seen on queue with the voters’ cards being attended to by polling officials.

At polling booth 005 Ekwueme Hall polling centre, Ukpo,  Dunukofia local government area, the accreditation process kicked off peacefully with armed policemen on guard the maintain law and order.

Reports from other parts of the state said the exercise has taken off in most of the 21 local government areas.

So far, there are no report of violence, just as Vanguard gathered that electoral materials and officials arrived early in most centres while they are  still been awaited in other centres.
