Bauchi—The Nigeria Youth For positive Change, NYPC, has accused the Federal Government of allegedly paying lip service to the fight against corruption in the country.

National Coordinator of the NYPC, Mr. Nasiru Kabiru, who levelled the accusation at a news conference in Bauchi, yesterday, on the state of the nation lamented that corruption has eaten deep into all arms of the government.

His words: “The fight against corruption in the country has been reduced to empty sloganeering by anti-corruption agencies and the chorus is echoed loudest by corrupt public officials.

’’The EFCC, ICPC, the police and other anti-corruption agencies have not been doing their best to curtail corruption.”
