Nollywood Sexiest: Chigozie Atuanya, Yvonne Okoro go out as last 15 emerges

Nollywood Sexiest: Chigozie Atuanya, Yvonne Okoro go out as last 15 emerges

Now, the end to the quest is in sight as the last 15 contestants; 15 women and 15 women have emerged. It has been a journey fraught with intrigues, surprises and excitements.

Many favourites who at a time seemed like they would take the fight to the finish line have stepped aside on the way while some who were regarded as long-shot have actually come through to rub shoulders with the top contenders.

The last 15 is the last phase before the 10 finalists are picked. The 10 finalists are expected to run till the very end until the 3 winners emerge.

How they stand

The men

The 15th person who is going out is Atuanya Chigozie, while the 14th slot is taken by Pat Attah, followed by Michel Majid at 13th and Odunlade Adekola and Joseph Benjamin at 12th and 11th places respectively.

The 10th man is Mike Ezuruonye followed by Ali Nuhu, John Dumelo,  Van Vicker, Uti Nwachukwu, at 9th, 8th, 7th and 6th places respectively.

The first five has Pope Odonwondo at 5th, Benson Okonkwo at 4th with the top three places being taken by Frank Artus, Ramsey Nouah and Yul Edochie.

Looking at the evolving set-up it is clear a lot has happened. While some have become so active others have lacked the fire to keep up.

The most outstanding climb of this phase is Frank Artus who moved three places from his previous 6th place to 3rd place. The biggest slump appears to be Van Vicker who dropped from 3rd to 7th. Pope also moved from 7th to 5th. Benson from 5th to 4th.

Yul remains glued to his first place and so is Ramsey who remains unshakeable at 3rd.

The women

Yvonne Okoro has had a bit of ups and downs in the quest. At a point, she looked like she would drop but survived and even got herself up to the 12th place. Would you say she got complacent? No, others just got more daring. She is at the 15th place going out this week.

Next in line to her at 14th is Queen Nwokoye with Uche Jombo, Nadia Buari and Biodun Okeowo at 13th, 12th and 11th places.

At 10th is Cynthia Agholor, followed by Angela at 9th, Queeneth Hilbert at 8th, Jackie Appiah at 7th and Colette Orji at 6th.

The top five is made up of Rita Dominic at 5th, Yvonne Nelson at 4th, Ebube Nwagbo at 3rd and Stephanie Okereke remains at 2nd. Tonto Dikeh retains her number one position.

Funny enough, the highest climb of the phase comes the way of Biodun Okeowo, who moved from previous 18th place to 11th place. The biggest slump appears to be Nadia Buari who dropped from 6th to 12th. Angela Okorie also recorded a big leap from  16th  to 9th. Colette Orji didn’t do so bad either as she climbed from 10th to 6th place.

Evidently, it has been a tale of twists and turns in both categories for the men and the women. But the one million naira question is: who makes the last 10? the next four weeks’ voting is all that can make the difference. Keep voting.
